Alyieana

Alyieana Rahim is a British sports therapist and former elite gymnast, currently working with Arsenal Women’s Football Club (AWFC). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from Buckinghamshire New University and is qualified in various therapeutic techniques, including sports taping, soft tissue massage, and TENS treatment.

Before transitioning into sports therapy, Alyieana had a distinguished gymnastics career, representing England in several national and international competitions. Notably, she competed in events such as the 2018 British Championships and the 2017 Leverkusen Cup in Germany.

Her professional journey includes a role as a sports therapist for Aylesbury United FC during the 2022–2023 season, where she honed her skills in manual therapy and pitch-side response. Alyieana is also certified in sports-specific first aid and safeguarding children in football, underscoring her commitment to athlete safety and well-being.

Beyond her professional achievements, Alyieana is actively involved in charitable initiatives. In 2021, she participated in a 10K charity run for Breast Cancer Now, raising over 300% of her fundraising target, despite recovering from a significant injury that had previously left her in a wheelchair.
